If you're thinking it's a long way to travel just to look at a horse, there are a lot more reasons to come! Excella Arabians is located only a couple of hours drive from the Canadian Rockies. There, world famous Maligne Lake awaits summer visitors and in the Winter Jasper offers World class skiing, Within 20 minutes of Excella is West Edmonton Mall the largest Shopping Plaza in the World. Stony Plain is developing as an old pioneer town and it's murals and museums take you back a few hundred years to early prairie life. Edmonton will be host to The World's Championships in Athletics Aug 3-12, 2001
Alberta's South was first inhabited by Plains Indians. Their hunting culture comes alive near Fort Macleod, at the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre, one of the largest and best preserved buffalo jumps in North America. Transportation
Excella is 45 min from the Edmonton International Airport, click here for a map. The hotels offer free shuttle service if you book ahead. From there we can provide transportation to the farm and hotels shuttle guests to West Edmonton Mall. If your planning a longer stay or wish to travel the Driving Force can arrange a vehicle or Motor Home.
Horse Transport
If you are worried about transportation for the horse you might buy: Often we'll deliver the horse depending on the distance or direction. We also highly recommend Dashney Transport, they provide excellent care at a reasonable rate and travel all over the US and Canada. Travel across the U.S./Canadian Border requires little more than a Coggins, Health Certificate and an appointment with the vet at the border for inspection. We can make all the arrangements, tests can be rushed and received within 2-3 working days. Transfer of registration is simple you mail in your Canadian papers with the required fee to the U.S Registry and you get US papers back. If you're Canadian everything is that much easier.

If you need a place to stay Stony Plain offers affordable accommodations in a clean charming atmosphere at the Stony Motor Inn or if your looking for more luxury the Ramada Inn has beautiful executive suites each with hot tub or can cater to larger groups
